How to cancel Hulu

Hulu cancellation depends on who bills you, and with Hulu there are three realistic answers: Hulu itself, Apple, or Disney, because Hulu now travels inside Disney’s bundles as often as it travels alone.

If Hulu bills you directly

1. Sign in at hulu.com in a browser and open your Account page.
2. Under your subscription, choose Cancel.
3. Push through the retention offers and confirm.

You keep watching until the current period ends. Hulu also offers a pause option on the way out; a pause is fine if it’s deliberate, but it resumes billing automatically, so treat it like the trial-conversion problem and set a reminder.

If you subscribed through Apple

If Hulu came in a Disney bundle

When Hulu is part of a Disney+ bundle, the subscription is managed from the Disney+ account, not Hulu’s site; your Hulu account page will say as much. Worth knowing

Hulu’s cheaper with-ads tier exists as a downgrade path: if the cancellation reason is price rather than the content, switching tiers on the Account page saves most of the money without losing the service.
